Downloading other player's maps and worlds can be extremely useful! It is similar to downloading a mod or resource pack. By downloading a world, you are adding a new world to your minecraft singleplayer section. If you are looking for a stable, but are not a good builder, you can download a world with a stable! You can building anything next to the said stable as you wish!
Directions:
1. Find and download map
2. Locate minecraft folder
     - Open finder. Go into the control bar on the very top of your mac (where the apple sign is). Then click go, and click (on your keyboard) option. You should then see a change. Click, library.
     - You will now see a finder window pop up. In the search bar, type "Minecraft". The panel under the search bar. Then (as shown in the picture), click library next to "This Mac".
     - Scroll down until you see two folders labeled "minecraft". Click one of them (any one). If there is only ONE folder inside labeled "launchwrapper", than go back and choose the other folder. This minecraft folder should have at least 20 different things inside. The more you use it, the more things there will be (Do not worry if your folder gets completely stuffed, its normal).
3. Enter the folder, and find the subfolder labeled "saves". Drag your newly downloaded world into that subfolder, and test it out!
